Marching orders

Matthew 7:24–27 (ESV) - “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Proverbs 4:20–23 (NLT) - “My child, pay attention to what I say [the Word]. Listen carefully to my words. 21 Don’t lose sight of them [the Word]. Let them [the Word] penetrate deep into your heart, 22 for they [the Word] bring life to those who find them [the Word], and healing to their whole body. 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Joshua 1:1–3 (ESV) - “After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.”

Victory doesn’t come standing still.

You Have A New Trajectory - CHOICE for God

Back in Genesis 3:15 God, speaking to the devil, drew a line in the sand:

Genesis 3:15 (ESV) - “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

The result is:

Colossians 1:13 (NLT) - “For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.”

Joshua said it as well:

Joshua 24:15 (NLT) - “If you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates?

Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV) - “[God] made [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Romans 5:17 (ESV) - “For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) - “We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

Philippians 2:12 (ESV) - Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling…"

Romans 8:29 (NKJV) - “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) - “We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.”

Transformation is the goal not alteration…from a moth to a caterpillar.

James 4:8 (ESV) - “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) - “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Trajectory starts with a choice.

You Have A New Identity - CHILD of God

Romans 8:29 (ESV) - “For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.”

Genesis 1:26–27 (ESV) - "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Romans 12:2 (ESV) - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

1 Corinthians 11:1 (ESV) - “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” 1 John 3:2 (ESV) - “Beloved, now we are children of God.”

Galatians 4:19 (ESV) - "My little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you!”

Ephesians 5:1 (ESV) - “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.”

Galatians 2:20 (ESV) - “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

1 Corinthians 2:16 (ESV) - “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”

John 1:19–23 (ESV) - “This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” 21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 So they said to him, “Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us.

What do you say about yourself?” 23 He said, “I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.”

Words of Life - Daily Confession. Speak the following out loud daily to build your faith in who God says you are:

Today I boldly confess that I am a child of God, completely forgiven, highly favored and loved eternally by my Father in Heaven. Although I've sinned, God has been faithful and just to have forgiven me of all my sin and cleanse me from it because of what Jesus Christ has done on the Cross of Calvary. As God's child, I am anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit. Today I will live by the Spirit's power and grace. The fruit of the Spirit will be displayed in my life: I am loving to people, happy and joyful, filled with peace, walking in kindness, showing goodness, strong in my faith, patient in my circumstances, remaining gentle to all having self-control in all that I do.

Because God has given to me faith I am an overcomer! I am born of God and victorious. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am a super victorious, conquering Christian that is able to do all things through Christ! No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper and nothing will ever be able to separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. I am a winner! Today I claim, according to God's Word, that all of the promises of God are "YES" in Christ and I shout "AMEN" in faith believing that God wants me to win and help others to do so as well.

I am blessed in every area of my life. God's will for me is to be joyful and peaceful. His favor surrounds me like a shield and wherever I go I am surrounded with God's blessing. It is my Heavenly Father's will that He will give me increase more and more so that I can be a blessing to my family and friends. I will be a blessing to people today helping them when I can. I will control my thoughts and words today only speaking good things about people and what is pleasing to God.

Today my faith is strong. I will not waver, but will endure by holding on to God's Word. I believe that God wants to give me the desires of my heart and that His will for me is to prosper and have good success. As I meditate upon His Word I will be strong and whatever I do will prosper. Wherever I go today, whoever I meet, whatever circumstance I face, I will bring joy, hope, love and life into that situation.

God takes great joy when I believe His Word. When I speak God's Word out loud, angels will obey and do His Word! God is watching over His Word and will perform His promises and His Word will prosper and accomplish what He sends it forth to do. I have a destiny and God has a great plan for my life! Therefore, by faith, I receive and believe the promises of God and will be thankful to Him throughout the day and I will praise Him for what He is going to do through the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

God did not give us a magic wand - He gave us a sword!

Use the Scriptures to defeat the enemy in your life like Jesus did. When you experience a challenge in a particular area of your life, take the following verses and pray them, memorize them, write them down, speak them out loud and allow the Word of God to establish the Kingdom of God in your life.
