A Wildman Discipleship Group is an accountability group of 3-6 men that want to grow & challenge each other to be all that God has called us to be. When the group meets together, you will hangout over a shared interest, answer five core questions, and then make a plan that helps each other stay focused on our goals.

The goal is for every man to have other men in his corner as we face the unique pressures that come against us. We believe that to be the best leaders God has called us to be; we need to be open and transparent about what we are facing daily. WDG’s are a great way to establish close friendships, receive encouragement, and accountability.

• What if I don't know anyone?

The best place to meet other like minded men is the monthly Grill & Chill events and Sunday services. We believe that God has called us to be leaders that bring others into the fold. Meet guys at church that you want to do life with and start your WDG with them.

• Who leads the group?

There is no one leader, but each man is holding each other accountable. Each person in the group is an equal and should feel free to open up, provide advice, and receive advice. There is only a group contact for the Wildman Director to send out resources.

• Who should I select to be in the group?

Your group should be filled with guys you want to do life with. Men that you would normally spend time with and respect. We believe that WDG's will be some of the strongest relationships you have in your life.

• Is this a Bible Study?

No, this isn't your average Bible Study. Although you will most likely talk about the Bible often. In a typical WDG, the focus will be on the five questions you talk about each time you meet. These questions are designed to allow men to check in and keep each other accountable.

• Why the 6 person limit?

Jesus had 12 disciples and only 3 that He was incredibly close with. We believe that you can't be best friends with everyone, but you can be close friends with a few. In WDG’s, the goal is to let the other men into your real life and the pressures we all face, which can best happen in a smaller setting.

• Where do WDG’s meet?

The meet ups could be in a coffee shop, a workout on the beach, at home during Woven Night while watching the kids together. The idea is that you will meet over something you already are doing or are interested in.

• What if my group has a question or pastoral care need?

The main reason behind having a contact lead for each WDG is to allow questions to come into our pastoral staff. Any and all questions are welcome as we want to equip each WDG.
